SCBPS

We are a subordinate unit of United States Power Squadrons® a national non-profit boating organization. Organized in 1914, USPS is a
non-profit, educational organization dedicated to making boating safer and more enjoyable by teaching classes in seamanship, navigation
and related subjects.

Our members are boating families who contribute to their communities by promoting safe boating through education. USPS has some 60,000
members organized into 450 squadrons across the country and in some US territories. USPS is America's largest non-profit boating
organization and has been
honored by three US presidents for its civic contributions.

Our objectives include: civic service and continuing self-education. We are a fraternal organization with interests around boating activities. We
also offer boating benefits to our members, including discounts on books, safety equipment, insurance and charts. For information on more

We serve boaters who live and boat in southern Lee County, Florida. Including: Fort Myers, Cape Coral, Sanibel, Bonita Springs and Fort Myers
Beach. In addition to providing fun events for our members,
we strive to educate all boaters in our area through our public classes.
